Adjunct Professor: Course, “ Fashion Design 2”, Miami Dade College, Miami Fashion Institute, Miami Florida, 2018-present
Course promotes an advanced and rigorous methodology that enables 2nd year students to use learned skills to advance mature concepts with an emphasis on communication of thoroughly considered thoughts and convictions through design. Collaboration with other designers and new technologies are also emphasized.

Course Introduces students to design concepts through individualized exploration of historical and contemporary design and designers. Students simultaneously construct their own designs with emphasis on discovering how to use materials and principles to communicate concepts via the design media and its function on, with and/or in proximity to the body.

Course establishes a culture of experimentation in which students venture outside of their comfort zones and explore new ways of fashion making with emphasis on concept, craftsmanship, and the development of a professional portfolio.
